Rest Stop ASandra (10:50am)
'I started my journey at the Living Classroom and have already learnt so much about the landscape of Bingara. Taking the Reconciliation Trail is going to be challenging but I feel it will be very rewarding.' |
Rest Stop IEmily (12:24pm)
'The walking trail leading from Rest Stop G really put what I have learnt so far about the massacre in perspective. I took a break at the lookout to the memorial site in the distance thinking about all of the lives lost. I hope others find this journey as eye opening as I have.' |
Rest Stop BBrian (11:16)
'Hi Roland, I am leaving Rest Stop B now and you're right, it's definitely worth taking the trail Sandra. Enjoy the rest of the journey, I may run in to you at some point, I'm not far ahead.' Rest Stop CRest Stop EAmanda (3:11)
Damien, your second photo is 'False Sarsparilla'. Enjoy the journey! Rest Stop GEmily (11:37am)
"I have almost made it to the memorial, keep going Sandra! There are some walking trails leading up a hill that overlook the memorial site I am about to take.' |
Rest Stop JDamien (1:45pm)
I have uploaded some photos from my trip, does anyone recognise the plant species? I'm heading to the Living Classroom to learn more. Rest Stop KRoland (11:05am)
'Hi Sandra, make sure you take the walking trail at Rest Stop B. There are plenty of interesting trails that lead off the main trail. All are well signed and provide the storyline of Henry Dangar, one of the major land owners from European Settlement that links to the Myall Creek Massacre Story. I have found these very informative. Stay safe.' Rest Stop LCraig (2:34pm)
'For those taking this trail, it would be nice to meet up and talk about our journey if anyone is in town tonight. I'll be at the Imperial Hotel Motel with my wife Rebecca at 6:30pm if anyone wants to join us.' |
